If sending migrant records direct to Bernard Skinner and/or Graham Collins then the preferred format is:

"The best way to send records is as a text file, preferrably one for each year. The preferred sort would be by year, by species, by vice-county (assuming any records from outside VC58), by site and by date. We must have species, vice-county, site, date, recorder and stage (i.e. if not adult). A 1km map reference and details of numbers and/or behaviour would also be useful. The species are probably self-explanatory (see list above) but should include vagrant species as well as those that are establishing themselves."

Otherwise please send ALL lepidoptera records (moths and butterflies) to me, Steve McWilliam (Cheshire County Macro-moth Recorder) at: 4 Priory Close, Halton, Runcorn, Cheshire, WA7 2BN or (preferably) by e-mail at: stevemc@consult-eco.ndirect.co.uk
